Delayed departure due to the fact that I replaced a split fuel hose and had to prime the fuel system with manual pump to get her started.

Dropped crab trap off Sheep's Bay and continued on, under power to Chatham Island with Tania. There was a fresh SW 10-15 KNT wind blowing but did not even take off the sail cover.

Enjoyed a light lunch of salami, brie and grapes before climbing into the dinghy to have a look around. We did not go ashore but were approached by patrol boat advising us that the island is off limits. Bummer.

So much for the blackberries.

Caught 4 nice sized dungeness crabs on the way home.
