Wind N. 5 kts. Overcast.

Arrived later than intended due to having to take my Christmas present back to Canadian Tire in LANGFORD! My Mr. Heater, Hunting Buddy (1600 B.T.U.) propane space heater had a faulty regulator. It would burn through the 1 lb. bottle until it froze and then shut off.

Fortunately the new one doesn't do that. Seems to work great. And It didn't kill me with lethal levels of CO.

My secondary mooring line was dangling free in the water. Seems I lost a 3/4 inch galvanized shackle. Replaced it with a stainless steel shackle I had on hand. I also noticed some strange wearing on the main line to the anchor. It seems like the 3 strand blue steel has come partially un-wound in a short section. Not sure how that could happen but it did. Fortunately the strands themselves don't appear to have worn so all is well. Still, will have to replace in the Spring. It'll be 2 years since new.

I seem to be missing my mast head wind indicator. THAT'S HOW FREAKIN' WINDY IT'S BEEN HERE! There's also a new hole in my safety netting. Christ, by the time the kids get on-board, there'll be nothing left of it.

Set the crab trap as an excuse to run the engine and engage the drive.

Seriously, it's not there!

Boarded? Tell me how this hole appeared with no apparent damage to the hull. I want to know.
