Solo.

Arrived to find the beach littered with piles which had broken free from the dock replacement operation at RVYC. They stunk of Creosote baking in the sun. I paddled around T2 looking for possible damage but found none.  I did notice the remainder of the crab trap line which I had managed to wrap around my prop last weekend. It was hanging off the prop and when I gave it a firm tug, it came free. I had engaged the services of our tenant, Liam to dive down and cut it free but it was too stormy yesterday so we scrubbed the mission. I gave him 20 bucks for his effort.

My Navionics app wasn't working. That's why there's no track with this entry. Turns out I had to update it. It seems to be working now.

There was a nice little breeze right in the bay so tacked back and forth but gradually ran out of wind so flashed up the motor and headed out to Haro Strait. There was a nice SW 10 Kt. wind blowing so had a very nice sail in the strait before turning back and gradually running out of wind in Banes Channel. As the threat of rain became more and more obvious, I dropped the sails and buttoned up before motoring back to my buoy.

It was a lovely sail with mostly sunny skies and a pleasant little breeze for most of it.
