First Sail with T!

Tania at the helm under main sail and genny.
Tania's first sail as owner of Trouper II. (I took her out once way back when we first met.)
NW 05-10 knt. local breeze. Dead flat out in Hero Straight. We sailed for almost two hours, over to Willows beach, Chatham Island and back. Delightful. First time flying the genny.
Also the first test of the new 'fishfinder' depth-sounder. Worked flawlessly!!! Was surprised to see only 9 feet when we arrived. That's at +1 tide. I'd expected 10 feet at 0 tide.
Tania enjoyed herself and we dined on crackers, exotic cheeses and chorizo sausage, washed down with San Peligrino mineral water.
When we returned to the buoy we feasted on fresh blueberries, artichoke and asiago cheese dip. We were living the high life!

Look at that spread. Also notice Tania's leatherman.

What better than to be gently rocked to sleep in the foc'sle after lunch?
