Fishing and fuel

Sunny. Winds light and variable
With no wind for sailing and not enough time to visit Tom at Tsehum Harbour, I decided to try my hand at fishing again. I motored out through Plumper Passage into the Sailish Sea, where for the next two hours I caught exactly nothing.
After that exhilarating experience I retrieved my lines and headed for the Oak Bay Marina to take on fuel and water. I read my gas gage wrong so thought I was down to about a quarter tank when actually I was only down to 3/4 of a tank. Not bad considering the last time I fuelled up was May 1.
Bought 24.4 Litres of fuel at 1.25/l.
I'm organizing a guys boating cruise for September 3 and 4 so wanted to fill up since I was in the area anyway. That'll save me a trip to the gas dock on the day of departure. Still want to refill my propane tank but will do that closer to departure.

Fishing gear set, waiting for a strike.
