Replaced melted wires on Yanmar. Got the engine started but it was not discharging water. Checked the impeller. Looks good. Noticed a large air bubble in the salt water intake filter.

Ran out of time before isolating problem with water flow. Relieved to have the engine started though. Existing battery had been charged incorrectly resulting in reversed polarity.

Replaced battery for half price from Canadian Tire. Didn't have receipt and Dad's phone number was not on record at Can. Tire.
