Tom and I replaced the fuel tank and began the process of moving the Racor fuel filter. The existing configuration had the Racor situated above the gas tank which mean fuel would not fill the racor unless the engine was running. This in effect prevented the fresh water collector from working and made bleeding the filter impossible.

We ran into a bit of a snag in that the Chesepeak furnace is also plumbed to the fuel system and it turned out we didn't have the correct flange fitting to complete this work. Next Saturday I'm hoping we can finally complete work on the engine and move on to other things like tuning the rig.
