I met Isaac from Scuba Scrubbers at RVYC visitors dock. (250-220-9596). The poor bastard had to swim all the way to T2.

Once there, Blue Polly replacement went off without a hitch. Shackles were not seized despite being under water for 27 months.

And the moment of truth? The original length of rope was 20 ft. I had estimated 15 so will add 4 feet of 3/4 chain to maintain existing scope.

The original rope and chain are in good shape and didn't NEED replacing. I replaced anyway.

I also had Isaac replace my prop shaft zinc which was all but gone after just 7 months in the water.

Isaac's bill: $150.00

I will pick up extra chain tonight and install at low tide on Friday morning.
