Dropped the crab trap in Cadboro Bay before going for broke and heading for the US border. It was a beautiful day for a sail with a steady, moderate Southwest wind. Mount Baker stood out in sharp relief against the cloudless, blue sky.

Despite the presence of a US military helicopter, I managed to cross the border without being boarded, shot at or otherwise incarcerated, persecuted or harassed by US border patrol agents. Why?

Who's the pirate?!

After my brief incursion, I came about and headed back to Canada before the CIA's drone fleet arrived. Despite having 20 or 30 crabs in my trap, there were none of legal size.

Should this prove to me my final entry, know that I went kicking, scratching and biting to Guantanamo.
