Rather than sailing, I decided to enjoy the cushions which I had just loaded on board. So I motored over to Puget Cove on the East side of Chatham Island, and dropped anchor.
I was the only one there which is the norm and it was beautiful. I enjoyed a gourmet half-bagget sandwich from Charelli's Cheese Shop and Deli! along with a couple of cold beer and plenty of sunshine. All too soon it was time to leave but not before I lounged in the V-berth atop the newly loaded cushions!
