Sidney Spit
Zero wind, Clear skies, flood tide
Left for Sidney Spit along with Barnucka in Inkla, after taking on fuel, ice and water at Oak Bay Marina.
Average speed of 4 kts indicates increased fouling on the hull. Way beyond time to get her out of the water and onto the hard for a new coat of bottom paint.
The voyage North was routine and i dropped anchor just off the Southern beach. Barnucka rafted up. I fell asleep by the stove and ended up burning my hand.
The next morning we went for a hike and I found 2 Morels right where I found them before, by the bench on the East side of the Island.
Barnucka departed the Spit in Inkla following our walk. I took Skully to the town of Sidney to fill up my gas can. (Note to self, don't leave the 10l gas tank behind next time.
Returning to T2, I set up the hammock and enjoyed hanging out.
